Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite small mahogany mirror, inlaid with bird in profile perched on crescent fan and floral sprays, flanked by black and white branches with checkered inlaid and rosewood crosbanded borders; original glass flanked by inlaid pilasters, platformed base with rosewood crossbanding, mellow light nut brown color; the inlaid pilasters relate to those on tambour desks by John Seymour and his contemporaries. ----- Bibliography: Book: American Antiques from Israel Sack Collection, 10 vols.
