Sack catalogue description: Queen Anne mahogany tea table with drawer, the case with cyma-scrolled brackets and pendants on all four sides, the front with one long drawer with chestnut linings; overhanging molded edge top, delicate turned tapered legs ending in finely modeled platformed pad feet, exceptional mellow original light brown patina. This table has descended through the Otis-Doggett families of southeastern Massachusetts to the present time in an unbroken line of descent; a history provided by the family accompanies the table. ----- Bibliography: Book: American Antiques from Israel Sack Collection, 10 vols.
