Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite mahogany inlaid tall case clock, the case finely inlaid with urn, shell and floral paterae, the enameled dial inscribed "William Dawes, Hackensack." A very similar tall case clock attributed to William Dawes is at Colonial Williamsburg.
