Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite curly maple bureau, the drawers are fronted by bird's-eye maple veneer framed in mahogany banding, the apron has a center panel with cyma scrolling and French feet; the top has mahogany banding and inlaid border below which is a frieze of feathered birch, beautiful honey color. ----- Bibliography: Book: American Antiques from Israel Sack Collection, 10 vols.
