Sack catalogue description: Chippendale mahogany oxbow bureau with blocked ends and ogee bracket feet, the piece shows the handiwork of a superior artisan and is distingushed by bold blocking and exceptional selections of figured grain, the top and sides have mottled mahogany striping; the drawer fronts have a wavy grain and retain the original brasses, except two, the molded edged top has notched corners.
