Sack catalogue description: Queen Anne cherry lowboy with dramatically scalloped top of cyma curves with turret corners and outlined by molded and filleted edges, fan-carved center drawer, apron design basically complementing the design of the top; the undulation of the top is aided by a beautiful amber patina. A closely related example without a fan-carved drawer is illustrated in Downs, American Furniture, pl. 327.
