Sack catalogue description: Original catalogue description (February 1985) – Sheraton mahogany sofa with incurvate arms and three-paneled crest, the center panel drapery-carved, the end panels carved with ribbon and bowknot; the bold serpentine arms have a reeded façade, reeded acanthus-carved arm supports, reeded seat frame; tapered reeded legs ending in bulbous castered feet.
