Sack catalogue description: Rare early Queen Anne cherry wing chair related to the Spanish foot group attributed to John and Thomas Gaines, the tall, slender proportions emphasize the William and Mary influence. Ipswich, Massachusetts or Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
