Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite mahogany inlaid box, the front centered by floral inlaid paterae in checkered oval with diamond escutcheon, the bowed apron with checkered inlaid border ending in French feet; the top centered by an inlaid diamond with black corners, brass carrying handles, light brown patina. Illustrated in Stoneman, John and Thomas Seymour, pl. 251, but guaranteed not to be by John Seymour.
