Cicular design split into twelve equal sections surrounding a smaller circular image at center. The center image is a view across a river of a domed building, with a bridge in front of it and another building next to it on the far bank. Each of the twelve sections to the outside of this center image is topped with an image of an open book; on the left page of each book image is the text "Tab." followed by a number "I" through "XII", the numerals increasing as you move counter-clockwise. Scenes of Roman life are depicted within the twelve sections, the human figures being involved in various ceremonies, agricultural activities, etc.
