Binding: s. xv [15th century]. Folios 1r-82v contain books 11-16 of the Annals of Tacitus, from his account of the reign of Nero. Folios 83r-191r contain books 1-5 of the Histories of Tacitus, all that survives of that work.
Written for King Matthias Corvinus of Hungary (1458-90; arms on binding and f. 1r), ca. 1475, perhaps by Italians at his palace of Buda. Manuscript on parchment (thin, good quality) of 1) Tacitus, Annales XI-XVI. 2) Tacitus, Historiae I-V.
