Notes:
The calligraphy hangs in the alcove of Mittanseki. Mittanseki was built in the northwest corner of the Ryokoin shoin. Ryokoin was built in 1608 by Kuroda Nagamasa, in memory of his father. The founding monk was Shun'oku Soen. The calligraphy by Mian Xianje was first hung there in 1641. Calligraphy dated to August 1179 (Song dynasty).
