Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite mahogany inlaid butler's desk on slender tapered legs witih line inlay, the desk panel has twin inlaid ovals over a row of divided drawers, the interior drawers are bordered by line inlay and flank a center door with oval inlaid panel. A contemporary inscription in an interior drawer reads "Thomas Arnold Remington."
