Sack catalogue description: Federal mahogany mantel clock retaining the original églomisé landscape panel and the label of Eli Terry, inventor and patentee (in 1816); the scroll top is flanked and centered by maple plinths and retains the original brass finials, the wooden works, weights and pendulum are also original.
