Sack catalogue description: Classical mahogany mantel clock in superb original condition retaining the original églomisé glass panels, the base panel depicts a seascape with stencil painted border of leaves and flowers in rounded crossbanded borders, the bulged base is supported on brass paw feet; the upper case has a dish dial, brass works fronted by an églomisé glass door bearing the inscription "Aaron Willard, Boston" in a red oval, anchor spandrels in red ovals; all in a field of stenciled flowers and leaves, scroll top with original steeple finial.
