Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite mahogany tall clock, enameled dial inscribed "Aaron Willard, Boston" with rocking ship crescent, original fretwork; inlaid plinths and brass finials, the center finial with eagle crest, waist door with crossbanded inlaid and molded border, crossbanded and inlaid base panel ending in French feet; the door retains the original engraved label and directions printed by Paul Revere, beautiful golden brown patina and superb state of preservation. Made by Aaron Willard; in Brigham, Paul Revere's Engravings, pl. 57, the label is identified as the work of Paul Revere. Related objects: Book: Clarence S.
