Sack catalogue description: Hepplewhite mahogany octagonal-top sewing table, the top is inlaid with the American eagle and eighteen stars, the frieze veneered with flame satinwood or birch; tapered legs with line inlay. Ex-collection Lansdell K. Christie; to our knowledge, this is the only sewing table with American eagly inlay.
